Shalom, Eduardo,
Every morning, I hold my breath as I look at the news. These are terrible, frightening days for Israel and her people after months of unrest and violent protests at the Gaza border – the most recent setting thousands of acres in the Holy Land ablaze – and days of rockets hitting the Holy Land.
I see firsthand the desperate fear and suffering that the Jewish people experience. That is why together we must Stand for Israel.
The prophet Isaiah describes a time when God placed watchmen on Jerusalem's walls to protect and defend Israel from those who would seek to destroy her:
"I have posted watchmen on your walls, Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the LORD, give yourselves no rest." (Isaiah 62:6)
Right now, I urge you to take action as modern-day "Watchmen on the Wall," ensuring the survival of Israel and her people by pledging to pray.
I’m asking dedicated friends of the Holy Land to pray over these 7 important prayer points for the next 7 days:
- Pray that God would guide Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as he leads Israel during these troubling times.
- Pray for the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) as they bravely defend Israel’s borders during this time of unrest.
- Pray for the widows and orphans of the IDF, that God would raise up friends like you to provide compassionate care as they grieve and try to rebuild their lives.
- Pray for the citizens of Israel suffering from shock and anxiety after being barraged with rocket and mortar attacks. Please also pray for the volunteers at Fellowship trauma centers who are caring for those suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder and other illnesses.
- Pray for the safety and wellbeing of the most vulnerable people of Israel – like homebound elderly and little children – who are defenseless in times of attack. Pray for the safety of volunteers who bravely make home visits to them during times of attack.
- Pray for the wisdom of doctors, nurses, and trauma staff that tend to terror victims in the Fellowship-funded fortified Rambam Hospital.
- Pray that God will provide the resources needed to stock Fellowshipcommand centers to provide emergency essentials like food, water, diapers, blankets, and medications before – god forbid –an all-out war breaks out.
Will you take the pledge and pray for Israel for 7 days? Truly, this is the day. This is the hour. This is the moment we must Stand for Israel together. |
