Last Poll Said 51 To 38

Pollster John McLaughlin On Trump’s Reelection: Our Last Poll Said 51 To 38, The Majority Of Americans Want Trump To Continue (Video)

Compressed by jpeg-recompress
(Gateway Pundit) – John McLaughlin, the CEO and Partner of McLaughlin & Associates, joined Laura Ingraham on Tuesday night to discuss the current political climate in the Trump era.
John McLaughlin was a Trump pollster in 2016 during President Trump’s first presidential election.
John says his polling shows Americans want Trump elected by a wide margin.
John McLaughlin: You’ve already mentioned they (the NeverTrumpers) lost the 2008 and 2012 race to Barack Obama. And Obama went on to destroy the health care system for middle class America, raise their taxes, lose their jobs. And basically put their sons and daughters at risk in in far off lands and we couldn’t win these wars. So Donald Trump ran on a message of change. And our strategy was to light up the rust belt, the sun belt, the Heartland of America and we brought out millions of new voters. We had a record 139 million voters show up and Donald Trump got 63 million votes because he was saying change and he ran against the Republican establishment and the DC establishment. And to this day he will win reelection because he’s bringing change to Washington. Our last poll said 51 to 38, the majority of Americans want him to continue to fight for change.

Flashback: Poll: More People In New York City Like Trump Than Bill de Blasio
President Donald Trump is viewed more favorably in liberal New York City than its Democrat mayor and longshot White House candidate Bill de Blasio, according to a recently released poll.
A Siena College Research Institute poll states de Blasio scored only a 29 percent favorable/53 percent unfavorable rating, while President Trump received a slightly higher favorable rating of 34 percent, compared to a 63 percent unfavorable rating. The survey underlining De Blasio’s dismal popularity in the Big Apple comes as he received an embarrassing 0 percent support in a Des Moines Register/Mediacom/CNN Iowa Poll for president published Saturday.

De Blasio and Miramar, Florida, Mayor Wayne Messam were the only two 2020 Democrat candidates who were neither the first or second choice for president among respondents. In an interview with CNN, he attempted to downplay the disastrous survey result, saying dismissively: “It’s a poll of 600 Iowans, eight months before the caucuses. This is just the beginning of a very long process.”
“I think the Democratic Party for decades formed a coalition, a rural-urban coalition. That’s what Franklin Delano Roosevelt did, it worked for Democrats. It was about working people, farmers, factory workers, everyday people.” the mayor added.
Last month, De Blasio announced his campaign in a video, touting legislative accomplishments such as raising the minimum wage to $15 an hour and paid universal pre-Kindergarten programs.
President Trump reacted to de Blasio’s campaign launch by calling him the United States’ “worst mayor” and a “joke.” “The Dems are getting another beauty to join their group. Bill de Blasio of NYC, considered the worst mayor in the U.S., will supposedly be making an announcement for president today,” the president tweeted. “He is a JOKE, but if you like high taxes & crime, he’s your man.”
“NYC HATES HIM!” he concluded.

Clapper Defends Partner-In-Crime

Clapper Defends Partner-In-Crime Comey As A Heroic “Whistleblower” In Wake Of DOJ IG Report (Video)

(Gateway Pundit) – Former DNI Chief James Clapper defended James Comey one day after the DOJ Inspector General released a report on Comey’s mishandling of his classified memos.
Although it was determined that Comey violated FBI policies pertaining to retention, handling and dissemination of FBI records and information, Barr declined prosecution.
Comey drafted 7 memos stemming from 9 conversations he had with President Trump and he ultimately leaked one of the memos to the New York Times through his friend-turned-lawyer-turned-unpaid-FBI-official Daniel Richman to prompt a special counsel.
Clapper, who was also a part of the failed coup to remove Trump from office, portrayed his friend Comey as a heroic whistleblower rather than a corrupt leaker.
Even worse, Clapper suggested Trump may have engaged in criminal conduct.
“Without these memos, the Mueller investigation may not have happened, right? And yet Comey broke policy to make sure that this investigation did happen. How do you reconcile that?” CNN host Brianna Keilar asked Clapper Friday afternoon.
“I think he did what he thought was the right thing. I don’t take issue with what the Department of Justice inspector general said. Yeah, it violated the standard protocols and procedures of the FBI. I don’t think there’s a rulebook, though, for this extraordinary situation involving potential — and I emphasize potential — criminality of a president.”
“And so Jim did what he thought was the right thing to do for the country,” Clapper said, adding, “One man’s leaker is another man’s whistleblower and in this case I think he was whistleblowing to the public.”

Fake News Exposed

Fake News Exposed: Texas Tribune Caught Reporting Falsehoods About El Paso Mass Shooter To Demonize Gun Sellers

The fake news is at war with the 2nd Amendment.
(Big League Politics) – The Texas Tribune was caught peddling fake news about how this month’s El Paso, TX mass shooter obtained his weapons and ammunition this week, claiming erroneously that he purchased them directly from overseas, and then refusing to own up to their mistakes, a Texas gun seller has revealed.
“Texas Tribune you need to retract this article and make corrections. I recorded my conversation with your reporter and I specifically told her,” wrote Michael Cargill, founder of Central Texas Gun Works, in a Facebook post.
Cargill claims that he told Tribune reporter Jolie McCullough to “check and verify because I doubt very seriously the shooter purchased this gun from overseas,” adding that “what he probably did was purchased online in the US and had it shipped to a gun store near him” because ammo can be purchased “online but not overseas, and yes in Texas you can have the ammunition shipped to your home.”
Cargill added: “Ross Ramsey, I would really appreciate it if this story was corrected. #BadJournalism.”
Ramsey, executive editor and co-founder of the Tribune, challenged Cargill’s contentions and inferred that the story was good journalism and that Cargill had not read the whole story. This promoted Cargill to post screen shots before and after the Tribune made deceptive edits proving that they did publish the fake news and tried to hide it.
“Texas Tribune was busted. Screenshots proved they edited an article without annotating the article was changed. They tried to call Michael Cargill a liar until he produced recordings and screenshots. Then they changed the article three times until it was correct,” Central Texas Gun Works wrote on their official Facebook page.
Eventually, the fake news publication did issue an underwhelming clarification where they took no responsibility for their irresponsible and biased reporting.
The Tribune wrote: “This story has been updated to clarify how ammunition from overseas can be shipped to consumers’ homes.”
Interestingly, they did note that Walmart is one of their corporate sponsors.
“Walmart has been a financial supporter of The Texas Tribune, a nonprofit, nonpartisan news organization that is funded in part by donations from members, foundations and corporate sponsors,” they wrote.
Although the Tribune claims that “financial supporters play no role in the Tribune’s journalism,” it would explain why the fake news publication would be eager to demonize independent gun dealers who are competitors to Walmart, the superstore chain that has embraced gun control in recent weeks.

Illegal here and they want to sue us...

Illegal Aliens Hire Deep State Law Firm To Sue Trump Administration For Damages After Being Deported

(Gateway Pundit) – Two illegal aliens sued the Trump Administration for damages suffered after they were deported from the United States.
The two illegal aliens hired the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) and Covington & Burling, a far left law firm, to file their claims.
The illegals now are suing for being sent home.
Unreal.
Separated Families Seek Damages for Harm Suffered Due to Trump Administration Policy
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Two fathers who were forcibly separated from their young children by immigration officials have filed administrative claims against the United States to seek compensation for the lasting harm caused by the Trump administration’s family separation policy. The claims, on behalf of families who will continue to suffer damage to their mental, physical and emotional health for years to come, are the latest in a series filed by the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) and Covington & Burling.
“Thousands of children and parents will live with intense trauma the rest of their lives as a result of this policy, which the administration knew would leave indelible scars on these families,” said Michelle Lapointe, senior supervising attorney at the SPLC. “The government must be held accountable for its actions and it must put a stop to this practice once and for all.”
The filings detail the cruelty of both the practice of family separation and the treatment of these families while in federal custody. As has been well-documented, the intent of the family separations was to deter future migrants by deliberately subjecting immigrants in custody to harsh conditions that would ensure their suffering. The dehumanization of these families and other migrants is evident in the accounts of their treatment while in government custody.
The physical and emotional torment were so much for one of the fathers, J.D.G – who fled Guatemala with his 11-old-daughter in fear of their safety following the rape of another young family member – that he contemplated suicide. The filing describes the physical and psychological cruelty the two faced while in custody together. This included the lack of any sort of medical care while his daughter was clearly ill, the physical separation and months of uncertainty, and then the ongoing struggle as a result of the ordeal.
The other father, E.A.S.M., and his 11-year-old son also fled Guatemala after threats and an attempt on his life. The claim details the poor conditions they faced while in custody together, the torment of their forcible physical separation, the weeks of agony while separated and the ongoing impact of their ordeal.
Both claims demonstrate the devastating impact of forcible parent-child separations, which have long been known to cause significant short- and long-term damage to mental, physical and emotional health.
Despite the clear harm of separation in the name of deterrence, the government indiscriminately tore immigrant children from their parents; sent children hundreds or thousands of miles away; refused to inform parents and children of each other’s whereabouts or well-being; refused to provide adequate means for parents and children to talk with each other; and failed to have any system for tracking the children or ensuring that families could ever be reunited.
These administrative claims are the first step toward holding the government accountable for the separations and the resulting serious trauma and suffering of the affected families. If the government fails to respond within six months or rejects the claims, the families can seek damages by filing lawsuits in federal court.
“The harm inflicted on these fathers, their children and their entire families can never be undone,” said Jay Carey, a partner at Covington & Burling. “But those responsible for their pain can and must be held accountable. And a message must be sent to this Administration — which has acted in the name of the American people — that such cruelty will not be tolerated here or in any civilized society.”

Trump Scolds General Motors

Donald Trump Scolds General Motors For Moving Plants To China After Bailout

(Breitbart) – President Donald Trump scolded General Motors on Friday for shifting car production to China, despite getting a taxpayer bailout.
“They moved major plants to China, BEFORE I CAME INTO OFFICE,” Trump wrote on Twitter. “This was done despite the saving help given them by the USA. Now they should start moving back to America again?”
Taxpayers funded a $50 billion package that bailed out General Motors after the company went bankrupt in 2009, as the federal government ultimately lost $11.2 billion in the process.
Trump described General Motors as “once the Giant of Detroit” but mocked it as “one of the smallest auto manufacturers.”
Despite their history in Detroit, General Motors now employs fewer union American workers in the city than any of their domestic rivals.
In 2018, GM sold 3.6 million vehicles in China compared with about 2.9 million in the United States as sales in China make up to 43 percent of their global sales.
The Buick Envision SUV is built entirely in China, and now faces a 25 percent tariff to come to the United States, as a result of Trump’s newly enacted tariffs on Chinese manufactured cars.
Trump has continued to criticize GM CEO Mary Barra, particularly after she announced plans in 2018 to close four US auto manufacturing plants.

‘Prosecutions Will Happen’

Rudy Giuliani: ‘Prosecutions Will Happen’ Following Damning IG Report On Comey

(Breitbart) – Rudy Giuliani weighed in on the explosive DOJ Inspector General Report on former FBI Director James Comey’s handling of the Russia probe and promised that “prosecutions will happen,” despite the Justice Department’s decision to refrain from prosecuting Comey.
Giuliani said the report proves that Comey “leaked and lied,” adding that it confirms that there was a concerted effort to remove President Trump based on a “contrived, false charge.”
“With what I know about Ukraine and elsewhere, I am sure that this happened and went higher and lower than Comey. Prosecutions will happen,” Giuliani declared:
