NY Times Praises Communist Tyrant Mao Zedong As “One Of History’s Great Revolutionary Figures” …Then Deletes It After Uproar
(Gateway Pundit) – The New York Times honored mass murdering communist tyrant Mao Zedong today as “One of History’s Great Revolutionary Figures.”
This was posted on the New York Times archives Twitter account.
For some reason they forgot to mention the 60-70 million dead Chinese under this tyrant’s rule.
After an online uproar the NY Times deleted the tweet.
…But only after the uproar.
We’ve deleted a previous tweet about Mao Zedong that lacked critical historical context.

In fairness, it's easy to forget the over 100 million people killed by Communism, Marxism, and Stalinism, when there's a vested academic interest to not talk about it.

"Lacked critical historical context." Well what's 45 million deaths in a man made famine all in the name of utopia?

Weird how Mao gets better coverage than Trump at the NYT.
Weirder still is how even here the errors only go one direction.

This is the same “news” organization whose columnist Michelle Goldberg claimed she has had insomnia since the “cursed” night of Trump’s election victory.
