Hijabbed Muslima repeatedly coughs and spits on cop, says she was on her way for coronavirus test
In India, a Muslim software engineer was just arrested for saying: “Let’s join hands, go out and sneeze with open mouth in public. Spread the virus.”
How prevalent are such attitudes within Muslim communities worldwide?
Thought experiment: if a white supremacist in one country called for his followers to infect people deliberately with coronavirus, and then a white supremacist in another country repeatedly coughed upon and spat at officers, would Australian Associated Press completely omit all information about the identity of the perpetrator and the call for deliberate infection, as it omits all mention of the identity of the perpetrator from its story on this incident?
“Muhammad is the apostle of Allah. Those who follow him are ruthless to unbelievers, merciful to one another.” (Qur’an 48:29). If a similar quote were part of a manifesto that was clearly believed in by the white supremacist perpetrator of our hypothetical analogous incident, would AAP have omitted all mention of it?
