Greta Thunberg Proclaimed ‘Successor’ Of Jesus Christ By Church Of Sweden

Greta Thunberg is the second coming — literally.

(Gateway Pundit) – The Church of Sweden announced last December, long before the teenage climate alarmist hit the headlines, that Thunberg is a “successor” to Jesus Christ.

“Announcement! Jesus of Nazareth has now appointed one of his successors, Greta Thunberg,” the Church of Limhamn wrote in Twitter Dec. 1, 2018.

The move re-emerged on social media this week.

Thunberg appeared last week at the United Nations, where she lectured world leaders about climate change.

“My message is that we’ll be watching you,” Thunberg said. “You all come to us young people for hope, how dare you? You have stolen my dreams and my childhood with your empty words and yet I’m one of the lucky ones … We are in the beginning of a mass extinction and all you can talk about is money and fairy tales of eternal economic growth. How dare you?”

But the church later said it was being misinterpreted.

“After some backlash in December when the tweet was published, the church posted a second tweet that suggested ‘success’ could be interpreted in more than one way. Shortly after, the entire account was abandoned, with a sign-off message that defended the original celebration of Thunberg and suggested everyone has a right to interpret Jesus in their own way,” the Washington Examiner reported.

“Dear twitter, If we have hurt someone we apologize, it has never been our meaning. Our meaning has been to talk about Jesus Christ in our own way. Now we leave the arena. Thank you for your commitment, joy and debate. God bless you! Jonas Persson, ward pastor.”

Schiff Staffer Traveled To Ukraine In Trip Paid For By Group Funded By Hunter Biden’s Old Firm

(Gateway Pundit) – Just days after a whistleblower filed a claim of wrongdoing by President Trump, an aide to Rep. Adam Schiff, a longtime Trump gadfly, flew to Ukraine.

New details have surfaced since we reported on this staffer’s trip on Sunday.

The trip by a staffer on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, on which Schiff serves as chairman, was “sponsored and organized by the Atlantic Council think tank,” Breitbart reports. “The council is funded by and routinely works in partnership with Burisma, the natural gas company at the center of allegations regarding Joe Biden and his son, Hunter Biden.”

Besides funding from Burisma, the Atlantic Council is also financed by Google Capital, billionaire activist George Soros’s Open Society Foundations as well as the Rockefeller Brothers Fund, Inc. and the U.S. State Department.

As Breitbart News reported last week, Google, Soros’s Open Society Foundations, the Rockefeller Fund and an agency of the State Department each also finance a self-described investigative journalism organization repeatedly referenced as a source of information in the so-called whistleblower’s complaint alleging Trump was “using the power of his office to solicit interference from a foreign country” in the 2020 presidential race.

“The Schiff staffer, Thomas Eager, is also currently one of 19 fellows at the Atlantic Council’s Eurasia Congressional Fellowship, a bipartisan program that says it ‘educates congressional staff on current events in the Eurasia region.’ “

Eager’s trip to Ukraine last month was part of the fellowship program and included nine other House employees. The bi-partisan visit, from August 24 to August 31, was billed as a “Ukraine Study Trip,” and culminated in a meeting with former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko.

The dates of the pre-planned trip are instructive. Eager’s visit to Ukraine sponsored by the Burisma-funded Atlantic Council began 12 days after the so-called whistleblower officially filed his August 12 complaint about President Donald Trump’s phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Schiff’s House Intelligence Committee reportedly reached a tentative agreement in recent days for the so-called whistleblower to testify.

But while Schiff was aware of the complaint from at least Aug. 12, he didn’t formally inform his colleagues in Congress until last week. Meanwhile, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and others seem to have known some of the contents of the whistleblower complaint long before it was made public.

The complaint says President Trump was seeking a quid pro quo when has asked the Ukrainian president for help in investigating the Burisma company and Joe and Hunter Biden’s relationship with it.

In his July 25 phone call with Volodymyr Zelensky, Trump also mentioned CrowdStrike, a firm used to allege that Russia hacked the Democratic National Committee’s servers before the 2016 election. “CrowdStrike founder Dmitri Alperovitch is a nonresident senior fellow of the Cyber Statecraft Initiative at the Atlantic Council,” Breitbart reports.

Young Ivanna Voronovych was a party girl in the Ukraine and somehow managed to make her way into a position as a Legislative Aide to Nancy Pelosi –

Young Voronovych started her career working at the US Embassy in the Ukraine in Kiev. She worked for Roman Woronowycz, the Kiev Bureau Chief, who is connected to Nancy Pelosi. As a matter of fact, he is a fan of Pelosi’s. Woronowycz is well connected with with the US Congress as can be seen from the picture below where he was given a tour of the Capital by Voronovych before reportedly meeting up with Pelosi, Schumer and others. He once posted, “Tell Nancy to keep up the good work!” (What is he referring to here?)

Voronovych’s parents are well connected. Her mom worked with the Ukrainian Army, and even received the Ukraine Order of Merit for military and political activity. Yoronovych’s father worked in the Ukrainian Foreign Service and he’s also connected to the Ukrainian government.

Another day, another leak.

(Gateway Pundit) – According to a leak to the New York Times, President Trump asked the Australian Prime Minister during a recent phone call to help AG Barr gather information that could potentially discredit Robert Mueller’s Russia probe.

The Justice Department is currently investigating the origins of Russiagate/Spygate — according to Mueller’s report, a “foreign government” (Australia?) is what prompted the FBI to “open an investigation into whether individuals associated with the Trump campaign were coordinating with the Russian government in its interference activities.”

The transcript of Trump’s call to the Australian PM was restricted to a small circle of aides, much like his phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

President Trump pushed the Australian prime minister during a recent telephone call to help Attorney General William P. Barr gather information for a Justice Department inquiry that Mr. Trump hopes will discredit the Mueller investigation, according to two American officials with knowledge of the call.

President Trump initiated the discussion in recent weeks with Mr. Morrison explicitly for the purpose of requesting Australia’s help in the Justice Department review of the Russia investigation, according to the two people with knowledge of the discussion. Mr. Barr requested that Mr. Trump speak to Mr. Morrison, one of the people said.

In making the request, Mr. Trump was in effect asking the Australian government to investigate itself. The F.B.I.’s counterintelligence investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election began after Australian officials told the bureau that the Russian government had made overtures to the Trump campaign about releasing political damaging information about Hillary Clinton.

The FBI-Deep State-Mueller ‘Trump-Russia’ investigation was supposedly sparked by a conversation Trump foreign policy advisor George Papadopoulos had with Australian diplomat Alexander Downer in a London pub in the Spring of 2016.

FBI informant Joseph Mifsud tried to plant dirt on Papadopoulos by telling him the Russians had Hillary Clinton’s emails. The fake news narrative claims Papadopoulos then bragged to Alexander Downer that he heard the Russians had dirt on Clinton — Downer then shared this information from Papadopoulos with fellow Australian officials.

Attorney General Bill Barr and US Attorney John Durham traveled to Italy to meet with Italian government officials on Friday, and according to a report by the Washington Post, Barr asked the Italians to assist Durham.

So the Obama Administration is allowed to unleash foreign governments to spy on Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign, but Trump, as president of the United States isn’t allowed to speak to foreign leaders in order to ferret out corruption.

The Australian Ambassador back in May acknowledged that President Trump announced that Bill Barr will be conducting an investigation into the origins of Spygate and offered Barr assistance.

Mr. Hockey, in a May 28 letter to Bill Barr said: “The Australian government will use its best endeavors to support your efforts in this matter. While Australia’s former High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, The Hon. Alexander Downer, is no longer employed by the Government, we stand ready to provide you with all relevant information to support your inquiries..”

There is nothing wrong with President Trump reaching out to our allies and asking for help in getting to the bottom of corruption but in this case Australia reached out Bill Barr several months ago and offered assistance.

IG Horowitz Refused To Dig Into Clinton-Lynch Tarmac Meeting – Failed To Interview Lynch, Clinton Protective Detail

(Gateway Pundit) – DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz refused to really dig into the infamous June 2016 meeting between Bill Clinton and then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch which took place on the tarmac of Phoenix International Airport.

Just days after Bill Clinton met with Loretta Lynch on the Phoenix tarmac, then-FBI Director James Comey usurped the DOJ and held a press conference where he announced charges will not be brought against Hillary Clinton for her use of a private server.

DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz never interviewed Loretta Lynch’s and Clinton’s protective detail despite the fact that Clinton and Lynch maintained they ‘spontaneously’ ran into each other at the Phoenix tarmac and only chatted about ‘grandchildren and golf.’

Both Clinton’s and Lynch’s security detail would have known about the planned meeting between the two in order to prepare flights accordingly and scour the grounds to make sure the locations were safe and secure — there is no way the security teams were left in the dark about this meeting, but Horowitz refused to interview FBI security team and Clinton’s Secret Service.

Lynch had an FBI security detail, and Clinton had a Secret Service detail. Typically, both insist on doing what’s called “advance work,” where they evaluate the security of locations in advance of such meetings, looking for threats, escape routes, critical entry points, weaknesses in security, as well as fire risks and other dangers. But to hear Lynch and Clinton recount the episode, neither of their security teams had advance knowledge of the meeting or were able to prepare for it. It was, they maintained, 100% spontaneous.

Despite the dubious chance-encounter story, Horowitz never checked it out with either security team. Were they really left in the dark? Or was the meeting, in fact, prearranged?

“The OIG considered but decided not to interview the head of Lynch’s FBI security detail,” Horowitz wrote in his report. He also neglected to quiz Clinton’s protective detail. Why? Because requiring them to testify “could impair the protective relationship.”

The two protective details were potentially valuable witnesses for another reason: They may have overheard the conversation on the plane. But Horowitz never bothered to ask them about that.

“We believed it was unlikely that the head of the security detail would have been in a position to be able to overhear the conversation between Lynch and former President Clinton,” Horowitz wrote.

Recall, Judicial Watch obtained emails through a FOIA lawsuit showing the FBI scrambling to cover up the Clinton-Lynch tarmac meeting.

The emails showed that the FBI was more concerned about who leaked the Clinton-Lynch meeting to a local reporter.

Horowitz is expected to release his report on FISA abuse within the next couple of weeks but without indictments, the reports are just hot air.

Ugh… Mitch McConnell: “I Would Have No Choice But To Take Up Trump Impeachment” (Video)

(Gateway Pundit) – Majority Leader of the feckless Republican-led Senate Mitch McConnell told CNBC on Monday he would have “no choice” but to take up the sham impeachment efforts in the US Senate if Democrats impeached the president in the US House.

MORGAN BRENNAN: I want to [discuss] the rules of impeachment if this is actually something that comes up in the Senate. There’s been some speculation that you might seek to change those rules or have those practices changed. Just to confirm, you would not do that?

SEN. MITCH MCCONNELL: No. The Senate impeachment rules are very clear and the Senate would have to take up an impeachment resolution if it came over from the House.

BRENNAN: There have also been reports from the Washington Post that you were the person that urged the White House to release that call transcript between Trump and the Ukrainian president. Is that actually the case, and if so, do you feel like that was the right move?

SEN. MCCONNELL: I did say on numerous occasions. I had called the Secretary of State and the Secretary of Defense of what the hang-up was on the aid to Ukraine, which I very much supported, and I was curious about what the delay was. At least it all ended well. Fortunately, the aid was released and I think that was an important step for our Ukrainian friends.

SEN. MCCONNELL: “Under the Senate rules we’re required to take it up … I would have no choice but to take it up. How long we’re on it is a whole different matter.”

The Republican elites are not up for this fight.

It should surprise no one.

It was nice of Mitch to go on CNBC and announce this news to the world today, huh?
