Welcome to The Michael Savage Newsletter, your daily insider report on all things "Savage."
In today's issue: Dr. Savage and a devout Catholic caller talked about the pope's troubling statements about "fighting global warming."
Savage wishes the Catholic Church, and all faiths, would concentrate on teaching timeless truths instead of latching on to trendy fads.
- In this case, he's an extreme radical leftist.
He's sort of like your average college professor in the American Northeast.
How can the pope come out in favor of fighting "global warming" when we know that it's not based on hard science?
On top of that, what does so-called climate change have to do with the church?
Religion should remain ossified instead of latching on to all the latest trends.
The rituals should remain the same. They keep people stable.
A religious upbringing gives children an internal moral compass.
Unfortunately, kids today are told "Do your own thing" and "If it feels good, do it."
Then look at how the children turn out. They don't know who they are so they turn to drugs.
To me, all religions boil down to one statement: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
Every religion teaches that, except one, and I think you know which one that is.
