Shots Fired Near NSA Headquarters, Building Damaged by Gunfire

(NBC news) – Park Police officials told News4 they’re investigating a report of shots fired along BW Parkway and Route 32 in Fort Meade, Maryland.

The National Security Agency is located nearby, and has reported that one of its buildings has been damaged by what appears to be multiple gunshots.

NSA and Park Police officials are investigating whether the incidents are related.

There is no word of any injuries.

The shooting comes just a couple hours after someone fired shots along the Maryland Intercounty Connector (ICC) near Interstate 95 in Prince George’s County, Maryland.

Two men suffered minor injuries in that shooting, and no arrest has been made.
