I accuse the news media of Puerto Rico of conspiring together with the communist regime of Cuba, of maintaining an airtight silence about the kidnapping and torture of the leader of the UMPACU, José Daniel Ferrer García. I also hold them responsible for anything that can happen to him, including his life, as if they pulled the trigger with their own bare fingers.
The actions taken by the authorities against this hero are extremely criminal, making false accusations, simply for denouncing the violations of rights on the sister island; just as criminal is the news media of our island, in refusing to denounce the unjust imprisonment of this universal brother.
