Recently, a teacher at a Christian school has filed complaints that her employers have made requests for her to remove the veil of her burqa. According to her colleagues, however, the teacher misrepresented herself in her interview. She did not start wearing the burqa until she had already gotten the job.
According to the teacher being interviewed in the video, it is only important for her to wear the veil in front of men. She demands that the school accepts her custom—completely ignoring the fact that she works at a Christian school, and is blatantly going against the children she is teaching.
Her weak excuses don’t last for long. The interviewer in the video calmly asks if there was ever a male in the room when she was interviewing for the job, sans-burqa. The answer, of course, was a reluctant yes.
