Hollywood actress Frances Fisher, who played the mother of the character played by Kate Winslet in “Titanic” appeared to blame “white supremacy acting out – encouraged by the trump administration” for George Floyd’s death.
In an even more provocative tweet she has since deleted, Fischer writes:
They want a race war.
We’ll give them a race war.
I’m with #BlackLivesMatter
We will win.
We’ll give them a race war.
I’m with #BlackLivesMatter
We will win.
Fisher later wrote:
I deleted my Tuesday tweet because I realized it was wrong and I let my anger get the best of me. I apologize to the world for this.
In another exchange, Fischer expressed anger that Twitter owner Jack Dorsey did not “finally shut down” Trump.
Fischer then wrote:
This guy is so desperate. He doesn’t know that every ballot is accounted for? Omg what an idiot. And the idiots who will believe him. For someone who wants to be worshiped its amazing to me that he is willing to look this stupid.
and when informed that Twitter did not “shut down” Trump, she wrote:
Jack Dorsey has the power to change the trajectory of this election, were he to shut down @realDonaldTrump for the multitude of violations already documented.
