Fidel Castro pretended to venerate the figure of Cuba’s most adored symbol of it’s history’s independence, but he never expressed the fact that José Martà was an ardent anti communist, who in his elevated genius, foresaw the evils of marxism. A man, who if possible, would have most likely been placed, under Fidel’s orders, before a firing squad, at one of the walls of El Castillo, in Habana. The deceased communist dictator knew this, it is why, no matter how hard you try, there is not one film in the island dedicated to the martyr during his adult life, the one movie filmed, was produced in Mexico in 1954, 'The White Rose'.
Here are some of his quotes on communism:
"Socialist solutions, born of European ills, have nothing to cure in the Amazon rainforest”.
"Autocratic officialdom will abuse the tired and hardworking plebs. Unfortunate will be and general, servitude”.
"Socialist associations send their professional agitators".
"A thinker, Herbert Spencer, points out the risk that certain modern peoples run from falling into a degrading socialism".
"The crimes do not take advantage of freedom, nor square white statues, red hands”.
"Being a servant of himself, man would be a servant of the State. If you were a slave to the capitalists, as they are now called, you would be a slave to the officials. Slave is the one who works for another who has dominion over him”.
By reading his quotes, you can conclude the man was an advocate of republicanism, just like Abraham Lincoln.
It is why the hypocrisy of the extreme left will never, ever, quote any of the writings on the true virtues of liberty, expressed by these great leaders, who furthermore, warned us on the perils of the red menace.
Those who’ll present us extreme ideas and dress it as a new form of democratic socialism and renovator to our solutions, are boldly lying to the nation, these are the same fiends who the past martyrs warned us against.
