In today's issue: As Jews around the globe began the eight-day celebration of Hanukkah, Dr. Savage explained that this ancient holiday contains a valuable message for everyone, whatever their faith.
"If you're not Jewish, you may think Hanukkah has no relevance for you, but you're wrong," Savage said to his listeners. - It's a fun holiday for children, but it was only when I became an adult that I came to understand its mystical significance.
Hanukkah celebrates the mysterious victory of the few against the many, the weak against the strong and the righteous against the wicked.

This holiday commemorates the rededication of the holy temple after it was destroyed then retaken.
They only had one day's supply of oil to light the candles, yet this oil miraculously lasted for eight days.
Here's what that means to you today: Let's say you are depressed. You feel like you're finished.
No matter how defeated you feel, remember that there is still a small portion of "holy oil" in your spirit.
You can light that oil and rekindle your entire life.
