The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) group has stepped up attacks on Kurdish Peshmerga forces in northern Iraq. Troops defending the regional capital Erbil say they need heavy weapons to keep ISIL from striking deeper into the Kurdish heartland. Al Jazeera's Mohammad Adow reports from the frontline in Gwer.
