In today's issue: Dr. Savage talked about Pope Francis and his many controversial statements about global warming and freedom of speech.
Now, Savage said, the pope is talking about birth control – and his words aren't what you'd expect.
"I've started a new segment on the show called 'Pope Watch,'" said Savage.- It seems that every other day, the pope is drinking too much of that papal wine or something worse.
Maybe he's reading 'Das Kapital' in the original German and taking it literally.
Because in addition to saying that he's an expert on global warming, he's also an expert on freedom of speech.
He says there should be limits on freedom of speech, because he's the pope and no one should criticize a religion.
Here's the latest headline: "Pope says birth control ban 'doesn't mean breed like rabbits.'"
He also condemned what he called "ideological colonization" that attacks traditional values in developing countries.
He compared this effort to Nazi propaganda.
I actually agree with him, in the sense that a liberal, gay-rights agenda in the schools and the rest of society is a problem.
