Obama Seeks Help From Shocking Group After Domestic Terror Acts… Even American Muslims Are Worried
(Conservative Tribune) – A White House spokesman confirmed with the Investigative Project on Terrorism this week that only 12 days after the San Bernardino, California, terror attack on Dec. 2, some of President Barack Obama’s top officials held a meeting with Muslims to talk about anti-Muslim animus, not radical Islamic terrorism.
Moreover, the meeting included a litany of Muslim grievance mongers from groups such as the Council on American-Islamic Relations, the Muslim Advocates, the Arab-American Institute, the All Dulles Area Muslim Society and the Muslim Public Affairs Council.
This revelation did not sit well with Zuhdi Jasser, president of the American Islamic Forum for Democracy and a frequent commentator on Fox News, who argued that “partnering with such organizations sends the wrong message to the American people.”
“I think it says a lot when the president uses those organizations that have an ACLU-type mentality,” he told the Investigative Project on Terrorism. “They should have a seat at the table; that’s fine.”
He added, “But not to include groups which have completely different focuses about counter-radicalization, counter-Islamism, creates this monolithic megaphone for demonization of our government and demonization of America that ends up radicalizing our community.”
Rarely has Obama taken the time to listen to organizations that do not already espouse his beliefs — be they Muslim or non-Muslim — even when they have legitimate ideas on how to counter radical Islamic terrorism.
Instead, he has focused exclusively on partnering with those groups that want to downplay the threat of Islamic terror.
Take for instance CAIR, which has a long history of not only blaming America for terrorism, but also denigrating our servicemen and even trying to ban words that offend them.
Yet Obama considers this group deserving of a seat at the White House?
It speaks volumes about the backward nature of our president’s priorities. What reasonable, patriotic Muslims like Jasser and countless others think about radical Islamic terrorism should matter to him a whole lot more than it currently does.
