Chuck Norris Just Made An Epic Announcement About Christmas That Obama Will HATE
(Conservative Tribune) – Legendary action star, martial artist and Air Force veteran Chuck Norris believes that Christmas should be a time for celebrating one’s faith, not wining and dining like a diva in Hawaii, as President Barack Hussein Obama apparently prefers to do.
Writing for WND, Norris explained that faith was a central theme for our Founding Fathers, who “throughout the decades” of their lives went out of their way to pay tribute to their God and savior.
In proving this claim, Norris cited the words of Dr. Thomas S. Kidd, professor of history and a senior fellow at Baylor University’s Institute for Studies of Religion.
“The Revolutionary era was shot through with public expressions of faith, from the days of prayer and fasting declared by presidents, to the chaplains employed by the Continental Congress and Washington’s army, to the faith principles undergirding the Revolution itself, especially the notion that all men are created equal,” Kidd wrote.
Norris also looked to the words of our Founders themselves.
Take for instance Samuel Adams, a signer of the Declaration of Independence who once shared his hope that “the peaceful and glorious reign of our Divine Redeemer may be known and enjoyed throughout the whole family of mankind.”
Then there is Benjamin Franklin, a peer of Adams’ who once wrote, “As to Jesus of Nazareth, my opinion of whom you particularly desire, I think the system of morals and His religion as He left them to us, the best the world ever saw or is likely to see.”
And let us not forget about John Jay, a Founding Father who later became the nation’s first Chief Justice. He once said this: “I render sincere and humble thanks for His manifold and unmerited blessings, and especially for our redemption and salvation by His beloved Son … Blessed be His holy name.”
These are just a few of the many men — Elias Boudinot, Charles Carroll, John Dickson, Patrick Henry, Samuel Huntington, etc. — whose lives revolved around their Christian faith and whose amazing words could teach Barack Obama a whole lot about the true meaning of Christmas.
