INSANITY: Dems Ask U.S. Military to Make BOMBSHELL Move to Destroy GOP
(Conservative Tribune) – You know the Democrats are getting desperate when they have to go to the United States Military for dirt on the GOP presidential candidates.
According to Politico, the Democrat Party has filed several Freedom of Information Act requests to obtain material that could damage the campaigns of certain White House hopefuls.
Requests for information regarding Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz, John Kasich, Jeb Bush, Rand Paul and Carly Fiorina have all been by the Pentagon.
Those who haven’t held political office, like Donald Trump and Ben Carson have been left out since they haven’t had any constituents affected by the Defense Department’s military or contracting issues.
Fiorina, the former Hewlett-Packard CEO, may have information that could be released through a FOIA request as she previously held a position on an advisory board to the Pentagon.
Democrats are apparently hoping to uncover specific documents that showed how legislators used their positions to advocate for constituents, donors or friends.
For example, Sen. Rubio could be in trouble, according to Politico:
“(The requests) include demands for letters in which Rubio expressed concerns in 2011 about the Pentagon’s ‘purchasing practice’ relating to a Miami-based company, as well as a 2013 letter from the Florida senator that the logs describe as a ‘request for assistance to sell beverage to U.S. armed forces.’”
When Democrats were probed about their search, they stated that it was a no-brainer.
“We request public information from as many sources as possible,” said DNC Research Director Lauren Dillon. “This is simple due diligence.”
Simple due diligence? More like “simple desperation,” as they know their front-runner, Hillary Clinton, is a train wreck waiting to happen. Or maybe already happening.
The Republican National Committee has reportedly sent only one information request to the Pentagon in the past year — if I had to guess, it would be regarding Clinton.
Despite the left’s duplicitous diatribe regarding the U.S. military, it’s good to see they’ve finally found a reason for it.
