Long-Time ‘Hardball’ Host Chris Matthews Is Out At MSNBC Following Recent Controversies

The Left is eating their own.
(Big League Politics) – MSNBC host Chris Matthews, who was a pioneer in the field of cable news field by hosting “Hardball” for decades, has resigned from his post after a string of recent controversies.
“I’m retiring,” Matthews said. “This is the last ‘Hardball’ on MSNBC.”
He made the announcement on Monday’s episode of “Hardball,” and left his show immediately after his resignation. He was reportedly planning to retire at the end of the election cycle, but that was moved up considerably due to the fallout from the recent controversies.
“The younger generations out there are ready to take the reins,” he said.
Matthews initially came under fire after he compared the rise of Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) in the Democrat presidential race to the rise of Nazi Germany.
