We’re in the last days before the election. Things will get crazy in these final days, but before they do, I wanted to remind you why I’m fighting so relentlessly for Miami and what I’ve learned on this campaign trail. Thousands of you now know my story. My story as a 1st-Generation American and daughter to two Cuban exiles, as a journalist who has fought fiercely to expose Socialism and corruption throughout Latin America, and as a devoted mom who wants to preserve the American Dream, not only for my children but for generations to come. But now, I know the stories of thousands of you! My favorite part of this journey has been going out into the community and meeting the many wonderful and diverse people that makeup Miami. I’ve learned about their lives, their work, their concerns, and their own American Dreams. I’ve also listened as they expressed the extreme hardships they’ve faced, especially this year. I’ve visited the shops of Miami’s struggling small business owners and encouraged our community to support them any way they can. I’ve met with our first responders, our firefighters, and our police and learned the obstacles they face daily in combating these crises. I held a job fair for Miami’s small businesses at my campaign headquarters and I saw our incredible community step up and come together to help each other through this tumultuous time. That is the Miami I know and love, and that’s the Miami I want to represent in Congress!
Then we’re going to BRING MIAMI BACK! We’re going to get our small businesses prospering again, our communities thriving again, and the people of Miami back to living their American Dreams!
