(Washington Free Beacon) - The House Select Committee on Benghazi subpoenaed Hillary Clinton for her email server to a third party—but when the server was received, it had been wiped clean.
This raises questions on whether Clinton is hiding emails related to her time at the State Department.
Since her press conference at the United Nations, Clinton has been adamant that she has nothing to hide and that the emails she has turned over will be made available to the public.
“I just can’t trust her lawyers to make the determination that the public’s getting everything they are entitled too,” said Rep. Trey Gowdy (R., S.C.).
Since turning over the server and her emails Clinton’s lawyers said that she is ready and willing to appear in front of a hearing that is open to the American public. The appearance might not be enough to quiet the growing firestorm of questions about her transparency.
