MICHAEL SAVAGE NEWSLETTER: The sign of a compassionate society is how it treats its weakest citizens

QuranWelcome to “The Michael Savage Newsletter,” your daily insider report on all things “Savage.”
In today’s issue: Dr. Savage dedicated his program to his late “silent brother” Jerome and “all the real special needs children.”
He used what would have been his brother’s birthday to contemplate the way various cultures treat the weak and disabled.
“The sign of a compassionate society is how it treats its weakest citizens,” Savage reminded his audience.
America is probably at the top of the list.
Now, ask yourself how ISIS treats the handicapped.
I’d imagine that anyone who sets other beings on fire while they’re alive wouldn’t have much respect for the handicapped.
For those compassionate practitioners of the “religion of peace,” I’d like to know what the Quran has to say about this subject.
I say that because much of the Quranic literature is based directly on the Old Testament and the New Testament.
If you read Leviticus, it wasn’t very compassionate towards people with “defects” as they call them.
Never forget that Islam was the last of the three of the monotheistic religions.
(Although if you listen to Obama and the others, you’d think it came before Abraham, but it didn’t.)
Here’s the problem: While Christians and Jews have gone through a reformation in their interpretation and practice of the original teachings, we can’t say the same for the rest of the Muslim community.
Why would we bring in retrogrades like this, who believe in a literal interpretation of a holy book that says stone homosexuals to death or kill adulterers?
