VIDEO: Trump ZINGS O’Reilly In Awkward Post-Debate Interview
(Conservative Tribune) – Things got noticeably uncomfortable during Bill O’Reilly‘s post-debate interview interview with GOP front-runner Donald Trump last night.
The interview began with Trump saying he felt the debate was tough but fair. O’Reilly asked the business mogul if he was tired, which Trump denied. O’Reilly then launched into a series of questions for Trump about his general election weakness, his flip-flops on certain issues and dubious business record.
“Are you getting mad at guys like me when I ask you the negative questions?” O’Reilly asked, attempting to stir things up.
“Well, no. I think you’ve become very negative,” Trump said.
“Why would I do that?” O’Reilly asked.
“Who knows,” Trump answered. “You’ll have to ask your psychiatrist, but I think you’ve become very negative.”
Ouch.
O’Reilly laughed it off but it was obvious that Trump wasn’t happy with O’Reilly’s line of questioning. In fact, Trump avoided eye-contact through most of the interview and hardly smiled.
Trump attempted to break the tension by introducing his wife, Melania, to O’Reilly but O’Reilly attempted to defend himself and claimed he thought he had been fair with Trump.
He asked Trump for an example of how he’d been unfair and Trump told him it “wasn’t worth it.”

O’Reilly did seem bothered by the remark, which did not go unnoticed on social media:
O’Reilly and Trump have had an amiable, albeit complicated relationship for the most part. Later in the interview, O’Reilly made Trump an offer for to appear on his show and explain what he meant. There is no doubt O’Reilly would love that, as Trump seems to get high ratings everywhere he goes.
Time will tell if the real estate mogul will take him up on it but one thing is clear — Trump was clearly fed up with O’Reilly last night.
