Former Republican House Speaker Newt Gingrich says the 2018 midterm elections are shaping up for a big GOP win, including the re-election of President Donald Trump.
"This is an America begging to break out, to do things you can’t imagine," Gingrich said at a luncheon on Thursday, The Palm Beach Daily News reports.
"If we pick up Florida, [Democrats] can’t possibly win the Senate … If we gained seats in the Senate, retained the House and picked up two governors, the moral authority of the Trump White House would grow by a factor of 10." He added that Trump was the “most successful anti-left leader in my lifetime.”
