Palestinians rioted in Hebron on Saturday while burying five terrorists, hailing them as martyrs. Several PA officials reportedly attended the mass funeral.
Palestinian rioters clashed with Israeli security in Hebron on Saturday during a mass funeral for five terrorists who died while committing attacks against IDF soldiers and civilians in recent weeks.
“We will die, but Palestine will live,” thousands shouted, waving Palestinian flags, while protesters threw rocks at IDF forces.
The Israeli cabinet announced recently that it will no longer return the dead bodies of terrorists to their families, although on Friday it delivered five bodies to the Palestinian Authority and is expected to send an additional nine on Sunday.
Member of Knesset and former foreign minister Avigdor Liberman and Opposition leader Isaac Herzog, among others, slammed the government decision to return the bodies, saying that it demonstrates weakness in the war against terror and that Israeli policy must be consistent.
Arab news site Albawaba reported that several Palestinian Authority officials attended the funeral, including Hebron governor Kamil Hmeid; Walid Assaf, chairman of the PA Committee Against the Wall and Settlements; and Mustafa Barghouthi, secretary-general of the Palestinian National Initiative party.

We demand that all funding of the PA be stopped immediately. The brutal murder of Israelis committed by Palestinian terrorists throughout Israel is the latest result of ongoing PA incitement against Israeli citizens. Funding the PA means funding terror.
