Great news for Israeli families! Israel was ranked as fourth best place to raise a family in the 2015 InterNations Family Life Index.
The Family Life Index ranks countries according to their results in these subcategories: availability of childcare and education, costs of childcare and education, quality of education, family well-being, as well as childcare and education options. This year, a question regarding available leisure activities for kids was included in the Family Well-Being subcategory.
In total, 41 countries are included in this index. Austria came in first, and the US came in only in the 25th place. Saudi Arabia was ranked last.
In order to be included, each country needed over 30 survey respondents raising kids abroad who rated the above factors on a scale of one to seven.
