US Lawsuit Proceeds Against Terror-Supporting Iran

A US court has rejected an Iranian appeal, holding it accountable for terror attacks against US citizens orchestrated by the Islamic Republic.
A federal appeals court has ruled that the families of four American terror attack victims who won financial judgments against Iran can go after $17 million owed to an Iranian bank.
The 9th US Circuit Court of Appeals on Wednesday rejected Bank Melli’s attempt to dismiss the families’ claims for the money.
The court said Bank Melli is Iran’s national bank, and Congress has stated clearly that victims of terrorism can collect money they’re owed from instruments of the state that sponsored the attacks.
A call to an attorney who represented the bank was not immediately returned.
Iran’s various news agencies have completely ignored the story.
The families of the terror victims and some of the victims themselves had won nearly $1 billion in financial judgments against Iran for four terrorist attacks between 1999 and 2002, and a 1996 bombing in Saudi Arabia.

Sign the Petition to Oppose the Nuclear Deal with Iran

The US Congress must reject the dangerous deal with Iran and ensure that sanctions remain in force until the nuclear threat is completely eliminated.
I strongly oppose any deal with Iran that allows for easing sanctions before the nuclear threat has been completely eliminated. Allowing Iran to enrich uranium without being subject to 'anytime, anywhere' inspections is extremely dangerous and unacceptable. This bad deal with Iran is far worse than no deal and must be rejected.
