Esther Pollard thanks everyone, following the announcement that her husband Jonathan will be released from a US prison in November, 2015.
The Jewish world has been urging and praying for the rightful release of Jonathan Pollard who has been imprisoned for the last 30 years in a US prison. Finally, as Esther told reporters, the ordeal is finally coming to an end.
Despite his release, Pollard will not be able to return home to Israel for five years after his release. As of now, it is unlikely that President Obama will grant him permission to return home. We hope that Pollard’s health will improve upon his release, as he’s been suffering from poor health particularly over the past year.
