Upcoming Benghazi Movie Could Spell Trouble for Hillary
Dana Perino: ‘The left is so concerned that they’re already going for it’
(Fox News) – Dana Perino told Megyn Kelly tonight that filmmaker Michael Bay’s much-anticipated movie about the Benghazi terror attack could have a negative impact on Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign.
Perino said it’s too early to tell for sure, but she noted that the left is already so worried about the film that they have begun putting resources behind efforts to tear it down.
Perino pointed out that it could showcase that some people believe Clinton is untrustworthy, secretive to a fault and willing to do anything to help herself politically.
“We don’t know what this movie could turn out to be,” Perino said. “It could make Hillary Clinton look very good. It might not even mention her at all. But the left is so concerned that they’re already going for it.”
Perino added that Clinton’s testimony before the House Benghazi Committee on Oct. 22 will influence how she is perceived by voters even more than the film.
