A Palestinian woman was caught by Israeli security forces on Sunday as she tried to infiltrate Israel with a rifle on her back. She claims Hamas had sent her on a mission to shoot Israelis.
A Palestinian woman was arrested Sunday by Israeli security forces as she tried to infiltrate Israel near the Palestinian city of Qalqilya. She was found to be carrying a hunting rifle.
During questioning, the woman admitted that the Hamas terror organization had sent her to carry out an attack.
Israel has seen a significant increase in Palestinian terror attacks, especially during the Muslim month of Ramadan.
Last Friday, a Palestinian terrorist was killed in the Jordan Valley when he opened fire on IDF soldiers at a checkpoint.

The terrorist’s car was flagged by the IDF soldiers for checking. The terrorist exited his car and opened fire on the Israeli security forces; they fired back and killed him.
The terrorist was feared to be carrying an explosive device on his body. A sapper was alerted to the scene, and he ruled out that option.
Last Sunday, a Palestinian terrorist stabbed and critically wounded an Israeli border policeman near the Damascus Gate in the Old City of Jerusalem. The policeman, who sustained stab wounds to his neck, managed to shoot the terrorist.
This act of terror followed an attack last Friday in which a Palestinian terrorist shot two Israelis, murdering Danny Gonen and wounding another.
These attacks occurred after Israel lifted security restrictions on Palestinians from Judea and Samaria and Gaza as a goodwill gesture at the beginning of Ramadan.
